Tearing out a kitchen fills a debris box fast, and in San Bruno that box comes from Recology San Bruno, the city's exclusive franchised hauler; the City's FAQ says plainly that you must use them. A storage bin or POD kept on the street in front of the house needs an encroachment permit, since the public right-of-way takes in the sidewalk, curb, gutter, planting strip, driveway cut and street.
