Baseboards hide the gap between the floor and the wall, and they take a beating from vacuums, chair legs and mop water. When a floor is replaced they usually come off, and old brittle trim rarely goes back on clean.
We cope the inside corners instead of only mitering them, so the joint stays closed when the house moves. Then nail, fill, caulk and paint. The detail that shows is at eye level: tight corners and a clean caulk line along the wall.
Matching old profiles in older homes is sometimes possible off the shelf and sometimes not. We bring samples and tell you what's close.

Do you install baseboards after new flooring?
Yes. It's one of the most common calls: the floor goes in, the old baseboards don't fit or broke coming off, and new ones go on.
Do you paint the baseboards?
Yes. We prime and paint them, either before install with touch-ups after, or in place.
Can you match my existing trim?
Often. Common profiles are easy to find; older or custom ones may need the closest available match. We show you options before buying.
What's the difference between shoe molding and quarter round?
Both cover the gap at the bottom of the baseboard. Shoe molding is slimmer and a little taller; quarter round is a true quarter circle and sticks out more.
