Kitchen renovations are on Hillsborough's permit list, and every application goes through the Town's eTRAKiT portal. Contractors register there in advance with a CSLB license number, the Town won't inspect for a contractor missing from the project's subcontractor list, and each inspection needs 48 hours' notice. Paperwork like that shapes the schedule as much as the cabinets do.

Permitted kitchen work is contracted through our licensed partner Bay Builder Inc (CSLB #1145538), and we do the carpentry, cabinets, backsplash tile and finish. A fabrication shop templates stone tops once the boxes are level. Deliveries count as construction activity here, so cabinet drop-offs get booked between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays or 10 and 5 on Saturdays.
