Handyman and home repairs
The list of small fixes: caulk, doors, patches, mounting, fences.

Soft boards, a wobbly railing, a step that moves under your foot. We replace what is rotten, make the stairs solid again and finish the wood so the fog doesn't eat it next winter.
Coastal fog and winter rain are hard on outdoor wood here. Most decks we see are fine in the frame and tired on top: a few boards gone soft, nails backing out, a railing that flexes when you lean on it, stairs with treads that crack or rock. That is repair work, and it costs a fraction of a new deck.
We start by checking what is under the boards. If the joists and posts are sound, we replace the bad boards, treads and railing parts, fasten everything tight and restain the whole surface so the new wood and the old match. If the framing itself is gone, we tell you before any work starts.
Rebuilding a structure, adding a new deck or new stairs usually needs a permit. That work is contracted through our licensed partner, Bay Builder Inc (CSLB #1145538), so the paperwork matches the job.

No call centers and no surprises. The person you talk to is the person who does the work.
Call, text or send the form. A photo of each thing gets you the fastest answer.
Small jobs usually get a price by text. Bigger ones get a visit and a written estimate. Both are free.
The crew shows up when we said we would, protects your floors and cleans up at the end of each day.
Before we call it done, we go over the work together and fix anything you point out.

J&J and Junior and crew provides great Handyman services and support especially for seniors that need a little excellent home maintenance for a reasonable price. Junior and crew repaired and caulked my upstairs shower pan to its shower wall and helped mme clean up my roof deck by cleaning up leafe debris. They were prompt and knowledgeable and honest about their estimates to complete the maintenance. Highly recommended for repair and fixing those tough maintenance jobs you don’t have the time or expertise to finish.

Professional, quick and clean work recaulking our tub and kitchen sink! They also replaced a lightbulb and consulted on another project. Will use them in the future. Thank you, Junior!
Usually, yes. If the joists and posts are sound, replacing the bad boards and railing parts and restaining the deck costs far less than a new one. We check the framing first and tell you honestly which one you need.
Yes. Loose stairs are usually worn treads, backed-out fasteners or a railing that lost its anchor. We replace and refasten what is needed so the steps are solid again.
New decks and structural rebuilds usually need a permit, so that work is contracted through our partner Bay Builder Inc, a licensed general contractor (CSLB #1145538).
