Dublin's General Plan divides the city into planning areas, and two of them matter here. The Primary Planning Area, almost 2,500 acres, has developed mostly since the 1960s and is largely built out, with about 13,868 housing units. The Eastern Extended Planning Area, just over 3,500 acres, has grown fast over the past 15 years. Older houses need fence boards, worn door hardware and fresh caulk, while newer ones tend to need punch-list fixes and nail pops.

Dublin is about 35 road miles from our San Bruno base, so a photo of each item helps us price the list and bring the right parts in one trip. Small jobs are handyman work. If anything turns out to need a permit, and Dublin requires one for most construction and repair projects, it is contracted through our licensed partner Bay Builder Inc.
