Houses move. Wood swells in the damp months and shrinks in the dry ones, and a door that closed fine last year starts rubbing the frame. Most of the time the fix is the hinges, the strike plate or the door edge, not a new door.
Sliding doors are the other big one. Patio sliders get heavy when the rollers wear out and the track fills with grit. Closet sliders jump off their guides and pocket doors get stuck inside the wall. New rollers, a clean track and adjusted guides usually bring them back.
For windows we handle the hardware and the screens: locks, cranks, balances, and new mesh in your existing screen frames.

Questions people ask
Do you replace doors or only repair them?
Both. Most sticking doors only need hinge, strike or edge work. If a door is split, warped or the hollow core is broken, we hang a new prehung interior door.
My sliding patio door is hard to open. Can it be fixed?
Usually. Worn rollers and a dirty track are the common cause. We lift the panel out, replace the rollers if needed, clean the track and adjust the height.
Do you make window screens?
We replace the mesh in the screen frames you already have. We don't make new custom frames.
Can you install new door handles or locks?
Yes: passage and privacy sets, deadbolts, and pocket door pulls and latches.
