Kitchen updates under Pacifica's permit rules

Pacifica's Building Division lists cabinets, countertops, tiling and similar finish work among jobs that need no building permit. Its handout adds a condition: if the work affects fixtures, the City wants drawings submitted for review, and the electrical may need upgrading. A refresh that keeps the layout, with new cabinets, a butcher block top and a backsplash, is the simpler path. Moving the sink or range is a different project.

Yes. Pacifica is about 6 road miles from our base in San Bruno, roughly 13 minutes without traffic. We work all over town, from Fairmont to Pedro Point.
